Dr. Luddington

Dr. Richard Luddington has been a practicing orthodontist for the past 25 years. Like his father before him, he loves the science of straightening teeth. Dr. Luddington loves taking on challenging cases and helping patients who desire beautiful smiles. “My number one desire is to treat everyone who walks through my door as if they are family. I know I want to be treated honestly and that is how I strive to treat others in my practice.” Dr. Luddington has greatly enjoyed serving the people of Davis County. His motto, “Artistry, Accuracy and Affordability” is something he truly practices and lives by.
As a graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Luddington furthered his education from Tufts University in Boston where he earned his D.M.D. and Orthodontic certification. He then began his lifelong dream by practicing orthodontics full time in Bountiful, Utah. In 2000 he also opened a practice in Kaysville, Utah where he also serves the needs of his orthodontic patients in Northern Davis County. Dr. Luddington is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Utah Association of Orthodontics, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association.

Originally from Bountiful, Utah, he and his wife Barbara have four children. The family is diverse in their interests. Dr. Luddington enjoys woodworking, camping and boating, while his wife creates stained glass artistry. His children are pursuing veterinary, medical and cosmetology degrees. Their dog, YaYa is addicted to squeaker toys and snacks and is also an integral part of their family.

I have worked for Dr. Luddington since 1993. I am the office manager and new patient coordinator. I have been married for 15 years and have two granddaughters. I love camping and water and snow skiing. I love Italy (I got to travel Europe for three weeks in 2012), Italian shoes, brick paved roads, Venetian crystal, old door knobs, wooden shudders, and marble bathrooms. I enjoy cooking and making up recipes, pasta, and home made ice cream. I love a good black and white movie, caramel popcorn, Milk Duds, Hot Tamales, and Gone with the Wind. One of my great accomplishments is when I hiked 19 miles for an overnight backpacking trip into Lake Solitude in the Grand Teton National Forest. I’ve hiked 8 miles to a waterfall, flown in a helicopter on Kauai, and swam with sea turtles.

I have been working as an assistant for Luddington Orthodontics since September 2015. I have really enjoyed the challenge of learning many new skills. This is all a new adventure for me. The Luddington‘s have been wonderful to work for. Working part time here has allowed me to be able to continue my other job as a preschool teacher. I have taught preschool in my home for the last 16 years and taught 2nd grade for 7 years prior to that. I’m so lucky that I get to do do two jobs that I love!!!

I live in Centerville with my husband Ken and 5 children. I have 2 girls and 3 boys, ranging from 19-8 years of age. I love being a mom! My world revolves around my kids and all their activities. I’m so grateful I can support them in the things they love. We do lots of basketball games and dance recitals as our families #1 source of entertainment.

I love to travel with my family and have been blessed to be able to travel to many wonderful places in this world. Hawaii is probably my favorite!!!

In my free time I enjoy exercising and spending time with my family. I love kids of all ages. That is definitely one of my favorite parts of my job is meeting and talking with our patients. We have some amazing people that come to our office. Getting to know them makes my job very enjoyable. I look forward to making many new friends in the office for lots of years to come.

I have been working with Dr. Luddington for several years. It’s a great place to work and I love coming to work!!! I live in Far West Utah. I enjoy camping, shopping, boating and traveling. The scariest thing I’ve ever done is ride the Big Shot in Las Vegas. I am married (28 years) and have two children and 1 grandchild. My favorite part of my job is meeting and talking with the patients.

I currently work as the office decorator and enjoy every minute of it! I was born in Ventura, California but have lived most of my life in Las Vegas, Nevada. I attended Dixie State University where I earned my Associate’s in Science and then moved to Salt Lake City after being accepted into the nursing program at Westminster College. I enjoy baking, documentaries, dogs, and everything associated with the arts. I aspire to become an Oncology nurse one day and own an English Bulldog named Rufus.

Hi I‘m Abby! I like to be outside, swim, and my favorite season is summer! I am currently going to school up at the DATC (Davis Applied Technology College) and I am studying cosmetology! I have always had a passion and a love for cosmetology and I love the program! I’m very into fashion and I also love to shop. I’ve worked part time for Dr Luddington for a long time!!

I currently attend Woods Cross High School. I love working part time and I help with all the computer downloads, filing and models. I love road trips with my family and I especially love historical sites along the way. My favorite place to hang out is a bookstore and as you can guess I love reading! I also love being outdoors, hunting for fossils and rocks and sleeping out under the stars. To date, my most memorable journey has been Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky. It was raining the day we arrived and I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than that area. I look forward to exploring more of the United States and all the side roads that hold unknown treasures.
